Gilbert Conrad began building his career in 1990 when he enrolled at the State University of New York College at Buffalo. He graduated in 1994 with his Bachelor of Science degree, and in 1996, Russell became a licensed financial advisor. That same year, he joined GKN Securities in Boca Raton as a Financial Advisor. For two years, his specialization was offering investment advice that was tailored particularly to Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).
In 1998, Russell Conrad established Princeton Equity Partners, Inc. in Princeton, New Jersey. Here, he worked with a clientele primarily composed of Midwestern business owners with high net worth. As he grew professionally, his specialization changed, and by 2005, Russell was primarily focused on non-traded REITs, 1031 exchanges, and private equity real estate; likewise, his clientele expanded to encompass high-net and ultra-high-net-worth professionals and business owners.
In January of 2020, Gilbert Russell Conrad opened Princeton Equity Management, LLC. For four years as CEO and President, he has been motivated by the desire to democratize institutional real estate and alternative investments for high-net and ultra-high-net-worth families. With the same meticulous attention to detail and rigorous due diligence that he’s become known for, Gilbert and the team endeavor to make 1031 exchange opportunities accessible to family-owned businesses, working alongside any existing trusted financial advisors, accountants, and attorneys.
Outside of work, Russell Conrad always finds time to give back to his community in meaningful ways. He is an active philanthropist who works with the American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and the Lewiston Historical Society.
Alongside his successful career, Gilbert Russell Conrad makes sure to take time and enjoy life, too. He enjoys fine wine, boating, and golfing at some of his favorite clubs. He currently belongs to the Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier, PA, as well as the Old Florida Golf Club and Calusa Pines Golf Club, both in Naples, Florida. While he is based primarily in Lewiston, New York, Russell spends his summers in Naples, Florida.
